In September 2011, Gaga headlined the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas. In the middle of her set, she dedicated her performance of "Hair" to Jamey Rodemeyer, a young fan who had passed away the week prior after sending Gaga a farewell tweet. We chat about the way this performance impacted us as young people, dissect how it speaks to what Gaga means to her fans past and present, and celebrate this empowered tribute to a young, bullied fan who was lost too soon.
